HI by far for me the best overall dryer is one my mom used to use at her salon
WIGO they are italian dryers and are super good, they last forever!!!!!!!!! you cant go wrong getting one of these and they are not very expensive.

okay elchim is a very good solid hair dryer it has been around for about 60years and comes with a lifetime warranty. which should tell you that they put alot of faith in their products. I use the sedu flat iron i love it but i haven't bought the hair dryer. i used my friends sedu hair dryer and she loves it because it has the ionic tourmaline technology which eliminates static and puffy hair, and a free extended two year warranty. She had to replace it once in two years because she dropped it. I have never had to replace my elchim and i had it for one year. When comes to price and durability i would chose the elchim but if you don't mind the price go with the sedu it does make your hair have less poof and staticProfessional Hair Dryers?

sorry not a hair dresser. i'm using conair ionic hair dryer (not exactly sure what its called) and have found it to reduce the amount of static in my hair. also reduces heat dammage and makes it more managable. professional hair dryers maybe better quality, but mine works for me and i can't afford professional grade right now.

Its like a life saver !Is it worth buying a professional hair dryer and flat iron?
I used to have conair flat iron %26amp; it did NOTHING for my hair. Now I have a chi turbo hair dryer %26amp; Chi flat iron. it is well worth the $$$$.
I get mie at the local drug store and they work fine for me. But if they are not doing so for you, then i would suggest investing in a good one. It don't hurt to try
